About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Support Specialist to join our team at Pi-squared Consulting. As a Technical Support Specialist, you will be responsible for providing top-notch technical support to our clients, ensuring their computer systems and software are running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities
  • Technical Support: Respond to user inquiries and resolve technical issues related to computer systems, software, and hardware.
  • Problem-Solving: Analyze and troubleshoot complex technical problems, using your expertise to find creative solutions.
  • Communication: Provide clear and concise technical information to users, both verbally and in writing.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of technical issues and resolutions, using this information to improve our support processes.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with our team to ensure seamless technical support, sharing knowledge and best practices to improve our services.
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a technical support role.
  • Skills: Strong technical knowledge of computer systems, software, and hardware, including MAC, networking hardware, desktop applications, file management software, multimedia software, word processing software, presentation software, MS Office, MS Windows, and spreadsheet software.
  • Personal Qualities: Accurate, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral communication, excellent written communication, and a team player.
Work Environment
  • Work Setting: Startup company, willing to relocate, relocation costs covered by employer.
  • Work Conditions: Fast-paced environment, work under pressure, repetitive tasks, attention to detail, and sitting.
