About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Business Development Officer to join our team at ICW Immigration Services Ltd. As a key member of our organization, you will play a crucial role in driving commercial growth and industrial investment in rural and urban areas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Implement Business Strategies

Develop and implement business strategies to promote industrial and commercial investment in rural and urban areas, working closely with our team to identify opportunities and drive growth.

Supervise and Mentor Team Members

Supervise and mentor a team of 3-4 people, providing guidance and support to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in their roles.

Administer Programs and Projects

Administer programs and projects to promote industrial and commercial investment, including developing and implementing business plans, conducting market research, and analyzing data to inform business decisions.

Provide Expert Advice and Guidance

Provide expert advice and guidance to clients on procedures and requirements for government approval of development proposals, as well as on marketing strategies and business planning.

Conduct Market Research and Analysis

Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends and opportunities in the industrial and commercial sectors, and to inform business decisions.

Develop and Maintain Relationships

Develop and maintain relationships with indigenous communities, indigenous-owned businesses, and organizations to promote economic growth and development in rural and urban areas.

Requirements
  • Education and Experience

Bachelor's degree and 5 years or more of experience in business development, commercial growth, or a related field.

Skills and Knowledge

Strong business development and commercial growth skills, including experience with MS Excel, MS Office, MS Outlook, MS PowerPoint, and MS Word.

Personal Qualities

Accurate, client-focused, and organized, with strong judgement and attention to detail.
