Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Deli Clerk to join our team at Wild Rose Co-op. As a key member of our deli department, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, preparing and merchandising deli food, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide excellent customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner
• Prepare and merchandise deli food, including slicing meats, cheeses, and other products
• Maintain a clean and organized store environment, adhering to health and safety standards
• Restock shelves and inventory, ensuring accurate and efficient inventory management
• Collaborate with the Deli Supervisor to achieve sales goals and improve customer satisfaction
• Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance skills and knowledge

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Previous experience in a retail or food service environment an asset
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including mornings, days, evenings, and weekends
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to lift up to 40lbs and stand for long periods
