Position Overview:
In this role, you will collaborate closely with a licensed Strata Property Manager, gaining hands-on experience while pursuing your licensing course. Your goal will be to achieve licensure as a Strata Property Manager within six months. We value determination, problem-solving skills, teamwork, and a genuine desire to assist others.
Work Environment:
This position is based in a supportive office environment, where you will be part of a small, dedicated team. You will also engage with a broader team and client base across various regions. Your journey will begin with training in the Operations Coordinator role, which may involve travel between different locations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support licensed property managers while completing the Strata Management Licensing Course.
- Contribute to the organization of property management efforts, ensuring exceptional care for the portfolio.
- Exhibit outstanding customer service and assist clients effectively.
- Handle emergencies with a calm and decisive approach, troubleshooting to find positive resolutions.
- Assist the Property Manager with tasks such as obtaining quotes, scheduling maintenance, and coordinating with tradespeople.
- Communicate with strata council members, building owners, and residents through various channels.
- Provide front desk coverage and office support as needed.
- Develop skills in public speaking, leadership, relationship management, and budgeting.
- Attend evening council meetings as required.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Training and Development:
Your training will encompass both in-office instruction and practical experiences, including site visits and participation in strata council meetings to enhance your understanding of client interactions.

Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in customer service, including hospitality or retail.

- Eligibility to obtain a Strata Property Management license is required.
Position Details:
- This is a full-time position with the potential for promotion to a permanent Strata Property Manager upon successful completion of training and licensure.
- Starting salary of $55,000 annually, increasing to $60,000 upon licensure.
- Evening work may be required post-licensure.
- Remote work opportunities may be available after training completion.
- Weekends and statutory holidays are off.
- Licensing and ongoing education costs are covered through our funding program.
