About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Director of Sourcing to lead our Sourcing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in apparel manufacturing processes, supply chain dynamics, and quality assurance, with a proven track record of managing cross-functional teams and driving operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive Sourcing strategy that aligns with the company's objectives and vision.
  • Manage external partner relationships and key issues, including IMU goals, volume, calendar, T&A, quality, delivery, and vendor compliance.
  • Formulate sourcing strategy by partnering with Vice President and overseeing the sourcing strategy with regards to factories and mills.
  • Build and manage compliance to T&A calendar in conjunction with major milestones.
  • Facilitate and lead cross-functional interaction to drive decision-making processes and bring resolution.
  • Monitor the T&A calendar and ensure seasonal milestones are being met, review escalated production issues, and gain alignment and resolution on solutions.
  • Ensure process, tools, and systems are being implemented and maintained.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
  • 10+ years minimum related experience in fashion apparel, with at least 3 years in a senior leadership role within the apparel industry.
  • Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead and develop multiple apparel teams, with strong skills in team building, conflict resolution, and motivation.
  • Workflow management experience.
  • Effective communication and negotiation skills.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Experience with data-driven decision-making and process optimization in apparel manufacturing.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with flexibility to adapt to changing business needs and market trends.
