The Ad Formats team is responsible for developing and improving ad formats to enhance user experiences and align with advertisers' marketing objectives. This team focuses on building new formats, enabling formats on various surfaces, establishing product market fit, and iterating based on advertiser needs and product feedback.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Develop new ad formats, including end-to-end prototyping, validation, implementation, launch, and iterating to product-market fit.
  • Continually improve the technical foundations used for Ad Formats.
  • Collaborate with product, design, and engineering teams to innovate and implement sophisticated solutions for complex challenges.
  • Engage in the full development cycle: design, develop, QA, experiment, analyze, and deploy.

**Requirements**

  • Proficiency in frontend engineering, with at least years of experience in software development.
  • Strong software engineering fundamentals.
  • A willingness to tackle the challenges of creating data-intensive, highly responsive, and fault-tolerant apps within the constraints of a smartphone environment.
  • An openness to explore innovative approaches to software development.
  • Willingsness to work full stack when needed, such as making small to medium sized backend changes.
