We are seeking a talented and experienced Senior Frontend Engineer to join our team at Alora Labs Inc. As a key member of our engineering team, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of our products, with a focus on React development.

About the Role

As a Senior Frontend Engineer, you will be responsible for:

  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to translate requirements into functional and responsive user interfaces using React.
  • Conducting code reviews and providing constructive feedback to team members on React best practices.
  • Staying up-to-date with the latest frontend trends, technologies, and best practices, particularly within the React ecosystem.
  • Mentoring and guiding junior engineers, fostering a culture of learning and growth in React development.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • A proven track record of at least 3 years working as a frontend engineer, with a strong focus on web application development using React.
  • Expertise in React, including experience with React hooks, context API, and popular libraries and tools within the React ecosystem.
  • Experience with responsive and mobile-first design using React.
  • Familiarity with RESTful APIs and integrating frontend applications with backend services using React.
  • Proficient understanding of version control systems, such as Git.
  • Ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
