Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Food Counter Attendant to join our team at 14436831 CANADA INC. As a key member of our food service team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a clean and safe dining environment.

Responsibilities
  • Clear and clean tables, trays, and chairs to maintain a clean and safe dining environment.
  • Prepare, heat, and finish simple food items to meet customer demands.
  • Package take-out food and portion and wrap foods to meet customer needs.
  • Serve customers at counters or buffet tables with a smile.
  • Stock refrigerators and salad bars to ensure a well-stocked kitchen.
  • Take customers' orders and handle cash and credit transactions.
  • Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, work surfaces, and storage areas to maintain a clean and safe kitchen.
  • Handle and store cleaning products and supplies in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas.
  • Remove kitchen garbage and trash to maintain a clean and safe kitchen.
  • Wash, peel, and cut vegetables and fruit to prepare for cooking.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a food service environment.
  • Or equivalent experience.
