Kitchen Helper Job Description

At 6IXSIDE BURGER INC., we are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Kitchen Helper to join our team. As a Kitchen Helper, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the preparation and presentation of food and beverages
  • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
  • Operate dishwashers and washing machines to ensure cleanliness and sanitation
  • Restock supplies and ingredients as needed
  • Assist with food preparation, including washing, peeling, and cutting vegetables and fruits
  • Participate in cleaning and sanitizing the kitchen, including work surfaces, cupboards, and equipment
  • Handle and store cleaning products and supplies
  • Receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas
  • Remove kitchen garbage and trash
  • Sharpen kitchen knives and maintain kitchen tools
  • Perform other tasks as assigned by management
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities:
  • Fast-paced environment with frequent changes in tasks and priorities
  • Handling heavy loads and standing for extended periods
  • Overtime required during peak periods
  • Physically demanding work with repetitive tasks
  • Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
Weight Handling:
  • Up to 23 kg (50 lbs) of weight handling
