About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Machine Learning Engineer to join our team at Themis Solutions Inc. as an AI Innovator. This role is ideal for a passionate and experienced machine learning expert who is eager to contribute to the development of cutting-edge AI solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop advanced machine learning models using structured and unstructured data to improve customer experience.
  • Create Large Language Model (LLM) based solutions to help clients save time and increase efficiency.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, product management, operations, and data science to identify new ML-driven features.
  • Work in an agile environment with a team of machine learning engineers, MLOps engineers, and full-stack developers on various projects.
Requirements
  • Experience in model development, specifically with traditional machine learning, NLP-based modeling, and transformer models.
  • Ability to manipulate, clean, and preprocess complex unstructured data for model development.
  • Experience working with open-source LLM foundation models and APIs for commercial LLMs.
  • Ability to quickly gain fluency in new technologies and work effectively in a dynamic environment.
  • Demonstrated success in mentorship, particularly using Agile processes and with large-scale SaaS products.
  • A diverse base of knowledge to help the team solve complex technical problems.
  • A portfolio of past projects, including notable successes and lessons learned.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to build high-trust relationships with colleagues and clients.
  • Learning new things, challenging yourself, and honing your craft as a machine learning expert.
  • Participating in diverse projects and collaborating with multiple engineering teams.
  • Reviewing and providing feedback on code, both within the team and across the organization.
