Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide expert advice and guidance on employee and labour relations matters to our client groups.
  • Develop and implement HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with provincial and federal employment and labour legislation.
  • Collaborate with our HR team to support projects and initiatives that drive business results.
  • Build and maintain trusted relationships with our client groups, providing exceptional customer service and support.
  • Stay up-to-date on legislative updates and HR best practices, ensuring that our team is equipped to navigate complex HR issues.
Requirements:
  • Fluency in both English and French, both verbal and written.
  • Excellent knowledge of provincial and federal employment and labour legislation, with a focus on Quebec.
  • Post-Secondary education in Human Resources Management or Industrial Relations, with a minimum of 3-5 years' experience working as an HR Generalist/Business Partner.
  • CHRP designation considered an asset.
  • Experience with labour relations, including collective bargaining and union contract management.
  • Ability to adapt to a changing environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects.
  • Superior interpersonal skills, with the ability to work comfortably with all levels of employees and management.
