Job Title: Food Service Counter Attendant

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Food Service Counter Attendant to join our team at Tim Hortons. As a Food Service Counter Attendant, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a clean and welcoming environment for our guests.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Cleanliness and Sanitation: Maintain a clean and sanitized environment, including the counter, tables, and surrounding areas.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Food Preparation: Prepare and serve food and beverages to customers, following proper food safety and handling procedures.
  • Inventory Management: Receive, unpack, and store supplies, as well as maintain inventory levels to ensure adequate stock.
  • Teamwork: Collaborate with other team members to achieve sales goals and maintain a positive work environment.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: Will train.
  • Work Setting: Coffee shop, restaurant.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, overtime required, physically demanding, repetitive tasks, standing for extended periods, work under pressure.
  • Personal Suitability: Client focus, reliability, team player, positive attitude.
Support for Newcomers and Refugees:
  • Recruits newcomers and/or refugees who were displaced by a conflict or a natural disaster.
  • Supports newcomers and/or refugees with foreign credential recognition.
Support for Youths:
  • Offers on-the-job training tailored to youth.
Support for Indigenous People:
  • Develops and maintains relationships with indigenous communities, indigenous-owned businesses, and organizations.

Work Language: English

Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week
