Southbridge Care Homes is seeking a skilled Housekeeper to maintain the cleanliness and sanitation of our facilities.

The ideal candidate will have experience in cleaning and sanitizing private residences and commercial buildings, with a focus on attention to detail and confidentiality.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform general cleaning and sanitizing tasks throughout the assigned property, including cleaning and disinfecting bathrooms, kitchen, and dining areas.
  • Wash dishes, utensils, glasses, pots and pans, and wipe and dust surfaces in rooms and clean mirrors.
  • Vacuum and clean floors, rugs, furniture, and drapes, and remove and replace linens, bedspreads, and blankets.
  • Establish work flow, make schedules, gather payroll, and audit tasks as needed.
  • Stock and maintain supplies, including washing and stocking towels, washcloths, and hand towels in bathrooms.
  • Perform other tasks as needed, including picking up and emptying trash containers and loading washer and dryer.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • Detail-oriented, confidential, and professional
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 25 pounds at times
  • Must be able to stand for long periods of time and reach, bend, lift, and pull
