Job Title: Deputy Director Roles

The Parliament of Canada's Real Property Division is seeking dynamic and experienced leaders to join our team as Deputy Directors. In this role, you will play a crucial part in the strategic and operational management of our real property division, ensuring the effective delivery of projects and services that uphold the high standards of the House of Commons.

About the Role:

As a Deputy Director, you will be responsible for overseeing various activities such as facilities planning, real estate management, facilities operations, project delivery, resource allocation, stakeholder engagement, and performance management. You will have the opportunity to influence organizational direction and drive positive change within the institution.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the strategic and operational management of the real property division
  • Oversee facilities planning, real estate management, and facilities operations
  • Lead project delivery, resource allocation, and stakeholder engagement
  • Drive performance management and improvement initiatives

Qualifications:

We are seeking candidates with a degree in architecture, design, engineering, facility management, or a related field, or an acceptable combination of education, training, and relevant experience. You will also need to have extensive experience in project or facilities planning, reporting, scheduling, and risk assessment for construction and renovation projects and/or facilities management, including budget and contract management and solutions development.

Additional certifications in architecture, design, engineering, facility management, project management, or a related field will be considered an asset.
