Role Summary
The Food and Beverage Operations Supervisor will oversee the daily activities of the culinary team in a dynamic shift-based environment. Your active engagement on the restaurant floor and gaming area will be crucial for effective team management and for providing outstanding customer experiences while adhering to the regulations set forth by the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO) and other relevant laws and policies.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure a safe and productive workplace by maintaining an open-door communication policy.
- Accountable for staff management, including recruitment, training, performance evaluations, recognition, and professional development.
- Utilize strong organizational skills to effectively juggle operational demands and employee engagement initiatives.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess:
- A college diploma or equivalent in Food & Beverage Management or a related field.
- A minimum of one year of supervisory experience in a relevant setting.
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal, analytical, communication, and leadership abilities.
- Proficiency in various computer software applications.
- The capability to obtain registration as a Category 1 Gaming Assistant with the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario.
