This is a temporary and seasonal part-time role that requires the use of one's personal vehicle to deliver packages primarily in residential areas. As a UPS Courier, you will perform in a physical, fast-paced, outdoor position involving continual lifting, lowering, and carrying packages.

Responsibilities:

  • Retrieve, load packages into personal vehicle, and deliver packages to customers.
  • Operate a personal vehicle to transport and deliver packages, adhering to all provincial and local regulations.
  • Interact with customers in a professional and courteous manner, providing excellent customer service.
  • Meet the physical demands of the job, including lifting up to 70 lbs./32 kgs.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 21 years of age.
  • Valid class 5 driver's license.
  • Ability to lift up to 70 lbs./32 kgs.
  • Excellent customer contact and service skills.
  • Must be willing to use personal vehicle to transport and deliver packages.
  • Bilingual (French and English).
  • Vehicle registered in candidate's name.
  • Valid vehicle insurance.

Approved Vehicle Features:

  • Current vehicle registration.
  • Current car insurance coverage.
  • 4-door sedans and hatchbacks (mid-size or larger).
  • Minivans, SUVs.
  • Vans must have a covered and secure bed.

Compensation:

  • Hourly rate: $17.30/hour + $1.20/hour bonus.
  • UPS will reimburse you $0.59 for each kilometer you drive.
