Job Summary:

Haivision is seeking a highly skilled Senior System and Network Administrator to join our IT team. As a key member of our infrastructure team, you will be responsible for the planning, installation, and maintenance of our IT systems and infrastructure. Your expertise will be essential in ensuring the optimal performance, reliability, and security of our systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • System Administration: Install, configure, and maintain various operating systems and servers to ensure optimal performance and security.
  • Network Administration: Supervise the maintenance and troubleshooting of our network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and other equipment.
  • Cloud Management: Manage and maintain our cloud-based resources on various platforms such as AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, etc.
  • Security Surveillance: Implement and monitor security protocols to ensure the protection of our network and data from threats.
  • Backup and Recovery: Implement and manage system backups and develop disaster recovery plans to ensure data integrity.
  • User Support: Provide technical support to end-users, resolve issues, and develop documentation and training materials.
  • Project Management: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address IT projects and initiatives, communicate effectively with team members, management, and stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Extensive experience as a system/network administrator (Active Directory, Entra ID, PfSense, Microsoft 365 Enterprise Suite).
  • Proficiency in various operating systems and servers (Windows, Mac, Linux, FreeBSD).
  • Knowledge of network protocols, routing, and security principles.
  • Familiarity with virtualization technologies and cloud platforms (VMWare, Hyper-V, Kubernetes).
  • Experience with system monitoring tools (Prometheus, Zabbix).
  • Knowledge of backup and recovery solutions and disaster recovery strategies.
  • Familiarity with project management methodologies and tools (Jira, Confluence).
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in French and English.
  • Certifications such as MCSA, CCNA, CompTIA A+ are an asset.
