Key Responsibilities:

  • System Administration: Install, configure, and maintain various operating systems and servers to ensure optimal performance and security.
  • Network Administration: Supervise the maintenance and troubleshooting of our network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and other equipment.
  • Cloud Management: Manage and maintain our cloud-based resources on various platforms such as AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, etc.
  • Security Surveillance: Implement and monitor security protocols to ensure the protection of our network and data from threats.
  • Backup and Recovery: Implement and manage system backups and develop disaster recovery plans to ensure data integrity.
  • User Support: Provide technical support to end-users, resolve issues, and develop training materials and documentation.
  • Project Management: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address IT projects and initiatives, communicate effectively with team members, management, and stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Experience: Advanced experience as a system/network administrator (Active Directory, Entra ID, PfSense, Enterprise Microsoft 365).
  • Skills: Proficiency in various operating systems and servers (Windows, Mac, Linux, FreeBSD), knowledge of network protocols, routing, and security principles, familiarity with virtualization technologies and cloud platforms (VMWare, Hyper-V, Kubernetes), experience with system monitoring tools (Prometheus, Zabbix), knowledge of backup and recovery solutions, and project management methodologies (Jira, Confluence).
  • Language: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in French and English.
  • Certifications: MCSA, CCNA, CompTIA A+ are an asset.
