About the Role:
The Medical Solutions Lead, Immunology will play a key role in the tactical implementation of our medical strategy. This individual will collaborate with the Immunology Medical team and other members of the iPVU cross-functional team, including Marketing Leads and Coordinators, Education Stakeholder Development Lead, APEX, Sales, and Regulatory as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the iPVU team to create and adapt programs and materials that create patient value and support UCB's objectives.
- Serve as a scientific expert and Evidence Generation lead within the Canadian Immunology iPVU.
- Identify and foster purposeful partnerships with key scientific influencers to drive new sources of patient value.
- Collaborate to advance local patient value-orientated initiatives with key stakeholders.
- Ensure UCB Operational Compliance to the highest professional standards, including scientific expert review of material for Canadian use.
- Contribute to a clear, well-designed strategic and tactical plan to deliver optimal patient value and achieve UCB's objectives.
- Influence highly rated and impactful educational programs, Evidence Generation, and local publication plans.
- Field activity that demonstrates strong, purposeful relationships with national and regional KOLs.
Requirements:
- Preferred: PhD with 5 years' experience in a medical function (i.e. Medical Science Liaison, Medical Advisory, Medical Manager) in the pharmaceutical industry.
- Understanding of the Canadian pharmaceutical environment, the customers, and internal operations.
- Demonstrated track record of delivering quality, relevant medical education programs.
- Established relationships with external scientific and clinical experts in dermatology and rheumatology in Canada.
- This is a field role with a national scope; the candidate can be based anywhere in Canada, experience in the field of immunology preferred.
