Job Summary:

The Co-operators is seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Insurance Advisor to join our team. As an Insurance Advisor, you will play a key role in supporting the development of our agency operations, primarily through the sales and service of Co-operators personal lines products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve profitable growth of personal lines insurance products.
  • Provide expert advice and recommendations to clients on insurance coverages and policies that meet their unique needs.
  • Identify and recommend additional products and services that benefit clients, driving cross-selling opportunities.
  • Conduct front-line risk assessments and selections, adhering to underwriting guidelines.
  • Manage client relationships, resolving complaints and escalating issues as necessary.
  • Meet individual goals for client service, sales, quality, and productivity.

Requirements:

  • General Insurance License required, with the ability to obtain within two months.
  • Meet provincial-licensing requirements and maintain licenses through continuing education.
  • One year of sales and service experience or related business experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of auto and property insurance products and selling techniques an asset.
