About the Role

Giant Logistics Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Chief Financial Officer to join our team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing financial strategies that drive business growth and profitability.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Planning and Analysis
    • Develop and manage financial models to inform business decisions
    • Prepare and analyze financial reports to track performance and identify areas for improvement
  • Financial Leadership
    • Provide strategic financial guidance to senior management and the board of directors
    • Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to ensure compliance and risk management
  • Operational Excellence
    • Oversee financial operations, including accounting, treasury, and tax functions
    • Implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs
  • Business Development
    • Identify and pursue new business opportunities to drive growth and revenue
    • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, suppliers, and partners
Requirements
  • Education
    • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
  • Experience
    • Minimum 3 years of experience in a senior financial role, preferably in a logistics or transportation industry
  • Skills
    • Strong financial planning and analysis skills
    • Excellent leadership and communication skills
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
