About the Role

AECOM is seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our team in Saskatoon. As a key member of our mechanical design team, you will be responsible for designing and constructing various facilities, providing conceptual design, and developing high-quality detailed designs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and construction administration of HVAC, Controls, Plumbing, and Fire Protection systems
  • Perform HVAC calculations and analysis using industry-standard programs
  • Conduct design drawing reviews and field investigations
  • Ensure design conforms to applicable codes and client standards
  • Write and edit mechanical specifications
Requirements

To be considered for this position, you must possess a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent, plus six years of experience in mechanical design. A Registered Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) designation is also required.

Preferred qualifications include 7-12 years of experience in the Buildings Engineering Industry, with experience in Water/Wastewater Treatment and Collection Facilities an asset. Strong consulting industry background in Canada and in-depth knowledge of HVAC, Hydronic Systems, Controls, Plumbing, and Fire Protection systems are also desirable.
