Position Overview:

Kirby Pike Engineering is in search of a dedicated and skilled individual to join our DCGS technical support division. The ideal candidate will be tasked with the configuration and management of Air Force Distributed Common Ground System (AF DCGS) ground and airborne sensor technologies. This role necessitates regular collaboration with system maintainers, mission planners, and operators to ensure optimal system configuration, performance analysis, and troubleshooting to achieve mission success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide system administration support for the PCPAD process.
  • Execute Pre-Mission, Mission execution, and Post-Mission tasks to support operational systems.
  • Configure, monitor, and enhance High Band System (HBS) software applications.
  • Conduct mission-oriented end-to-end analysis, diagnostics, and fault isolation for HBS systems.
  • Manage multiple airborne SIGINT sensor missions and processes concurrently at a Core site.
  • Ensure all HBS software operates effectively with various sensors, sites, and systems.
  • Administer COTS or GOTS software solutions utilized by DCGS operators and analysts (CICS, RIM, CETS, SEAM, etc.).
  • Identify system anomalies and create, update, and resolve Incident tickets while supporting engineering and technical issue resolution.
  • Offer technical assistance to the SRM and MT for fault isolation and recovery of systems and sensors, including associated End-to-End network paths.
  • Contribute to ongoing technical improvements and system upgrades.
  • Support the implementation and maintenance of cybersecurity measures.
  • Assist in the post-upgrade development and optimization of Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures (TTPs) and Operating Instructions (OIs).
  • Conduct On-the-Job Training (OJT) to enhance skills and identify areas for sustainment support improvements.
  • Perform Technical Change Orders (TCTO), Technical Change Notices (TCNO), and other directives as assigned.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in military SIGINT domains, including U-2, Global Hawk, MQ-1, and MQ-9 sensors, along with processing, exploitation, and dissemination (PED) architectures.
  • Proficiency in UNIX (Solaris or Linux) and Microsoft Windows system administration.
  • Experience with VMware administration (containers, storage, and resources) and cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, OpenStack, etc.).
  • Familiarity with software development methods (shell scripts, JavaScript, Python, PHP, C/C++, C#, Java, XML, HTML, etc.).
  • Oracle database system administration experience.
  • Knowledge of x86-based server hardware.
  • Understanding of cybersecurity tools and methodologies.

Required Qualifications:

  • Strong organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • A minimum of three (3) years of ELINT experience.
  • A minimum of three (3) years of AF SIGINT experience.
  • A minimum of three (3) years of AF DCGS experience.

Essential Requirements:

  • U.S. citizenship is mandatory.
  • Active DoD TS/SCI clearance is required.

Education and Certifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) field.
  • DoD IAT Level II or IAM Level I certification (e.g., CAP, Security+ CE, CCNA, CySA+, SSCP, etc.).
