Job Summary

Silver Hills Bakery is seeking a skilled Electrical Systems Specialist to join our production team. As an Electrical Systems Specialist, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our electrical systems and contributing to the continued success of our bakery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics to understand equipment layout and control cabinets.
  • Review drawings and panel schedules, providing mark-ups to capture updates and as-built conditions.
  • Read equipment manuals to understand function and operation, and to troubleshoot issues.
  • Install, repair, and test industrial electrical equipment and other related devices.
  • Install and repair electrical wiring, receptacles, switch boxes, conduits, feeders, lighting fixtures, and other electrical components.
  • Assist in designing, purchasing components, building, and commissioning automation control cabinets (PLCs, etc.).
  • Test electrical and electronic equipment for continuity, current, voltage, and resistance.
  • Install, repair, and test switchgear, transformers, load reactors, and more.
  • Install, repair, and test electrical motors, industrial batteries, and hydraulic and pneumatic control systems.
  • Build, modify, and install support structures and stands for electrical cabinets, trays, disconnects, etc.
  • Mount/install electric motors – electrically and mechanically.
