Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Retail Store Supervisor to join our team at JIM & DON INVESTMENTS LTD. as a key member of our retail operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Management
    • Supervise and coordinate the activities of sales staff, ensuring excellent customer service and sales performance.
    • Assign tasks and duties to sales workers, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Operations and Administration
    • Authorize returns and exchanges of merchandise, ensuring accurate and efficient processing.
    • Prepare and review sales reports, identifying trends and areas for improvement.
    • Organize and maintain inventory, ensuring accurate stock levels and efficient stockroom operations.
  • Customer Service and Sales
    • Sell merchandise to customers, providing excellent customer service and ensuring sales targets are met.
    • Resolve customer complaints and issues, providing prompt and effective solutions.
  • Teamwork and Communication
    • Supervise and coordinate the activities of cashiers, grocery clerks, and shelf stockers, ensuring seamless operations.
    • Communicate effectively with team members, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Security and Safety
    • Ensure a safe and secure working environment, adhering to company policies and procedures.
    • Conduct regular security checks and maintain accurate records.
  • Work Environment and Physical Demands
    • Work in a fast-paced retail environment, handling heavy loads and standing for extended periods.
    • Combine sitting, standing, and walking to perform duties efficiently.

Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience
    • 1 year to less than 2 years of retail experience, preferably in a supervisory role.
  • Work Setting
    • Rural area retail business.
  • Security and Safety
    • Bondable and basic security clearance required.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities
    • Fast-paced environment, working under pressure with tight deadlines.
  • Personal Suitability
