Job Title: Executive Housekeeper

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Housekeeper to join our team at Super 8 by Wyndham Valemount. As a key member of our housekeeping team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and comfort for our guests.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Implement and maintain operational procedures to prevent infection and ensure a safe environment for guests and staff.
  • Select and purchase equipment and supplies to maintain a high level of cleanliness and efficiency.
  • Plan and coordinate activities of housekeeping supervisors and crews to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Conduct regular inspections of assigned areas to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
  • Supervise and train housekeeping staff to ensure they meet the highest standards of service and quality.
  • Coordinate contract services and ensure that all necessary equipment and supplies are available.
  • Maintain accurate financial records and ensure that all expenses are properly accounted for.
  • Supervise maintenance and repair services to ensure that all equipment and facilities are in good working order.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and appraisals to ensure that staff are meeting their performance goals.
  • Maintain an accurate inventory of supplies, equipment, and uniforms to ensure that all necessary items are available.
  • Supervise in-house laundry services to ensure that all linens and uniforms are clean and well-maintained.
Requirements:
  • 1-2 years of experience in a housekeeping or facilities management role.
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
  • Attention to detail and ability to maintain a high level of organization.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
