We are seeking a highly qualified Academic Professor of Finance to join our team at Algoma University. As a Professor of Finance, you will be responsible for teaching and mentoring students in the field of finance, as well as contributing to the development of our academic programs.
Key Responsibilities- Teaching and Research: Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in finance, including financial management, corporate finance, and investments. Conduct research in finance and publish papers in reputable academic journals.
- Student Supervision: Supervise undergraduate and graduate students in their research projects and theses.
- Program Development: Contribute to the development of our academic programs in finance, including curriculum design and program evaluation.
- Service: Participate in departmental and university service, including committee work and community engagement.
- Education: Earned doctorate degree in finance or a related field.
- Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in teaching and research in finance.
- Skills: Strong teaching and research skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
