Key Responsibilities- Network Administration: Coordinate access and use of computer networks, ensuring seamless connectivity and optimal performance.
- Hardware and Software Installation: Install web server hardware and software, as well as load printer with paper and forms, to maintain a efficient and productive work environment.
- Troubleshooting and Maintenance: Troubleshoot, maintain, and administer the use of local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), mainframe networks, and computer workstations and peripheral equipment.
- Security and Compliance: Implement data, software, and hardware security procedures, and perform routine network start up and close down, to ensure the integrity and confidentiality of our clients' data.
- Backup and Recovery: Perform data backups and disaster recovery operations, to minimize downtime and ensure business continuity.
- Performance Optimization: Implement network traffic and security monitoring software, and optimize server performance, to ensure maximum efficiency and productivity.
- Content Management: Modify Web pages, applets, and scripts, to maintain a dynamic and engaging online presence.
- Documentation and Reporting: Maintain control records and perform routine documentation, to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Education: College/CEGEP degree in Computer Science or related field.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
- Skills: Excellent oral and written communication skills, efficient interpersonal skills, and the ability to work in a team environment.
- Language: English language proficiency.
- Work Schedule: 40 hours per week, with a permanent work term.
