Position OverviewVitacore Industries is seeking an Engineering Team Leader with a Professional Engineer (P.Eng) designation to cultivate, mentor, and oversee the engineering department.
The engineering team is vital in establishing and maintaining manufacturing and recycling systems, along with various other initiatives.
This role will involve close collaboration with the R&D team, contributing to diverse R&D projects, enhancing manufacturing processes, improving facilities, and addressing other company needs, all while leveraging your extensive experience.
Qualifications- Professional Certificate in Engineering registered with the Engineers and Geoscientists BC (EGBC)
- Professional Engineering designation
- Project management experience
- Proficient in English with strong communication skills, particularly in report writing
Technical Skills
- Engineering Design experience
- Background in manufacturing or related mechanical fields
- Experience in training and mentoring Engineers in Training (EITs)
- Proficiency in Solidworks
- Advanced skills in MS Excel
- Knowledge of at least one programming language (Python, Java, MATLAB, C, C++, C#, PLC)
- Expertise in Mechanical, Electrical, Biomedical, or Computer Engineering
