About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Restaurant Assistant Manager to join our team at 1727546 Ontario Limited. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant, ensuring exceptional customer service, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operations Management
    • Plan and coordinate daily restaurant operations, including staff scheduling, inventory management, and supply chain logistics.
    • Monitor and control food costs, labor costs, and other expenses to ensure profitability.
  • Customer Service
    • Ensure that all customers receive exceptional service, responding promptly to their needs and resolving any issues in a professional manner.
  • Staff Management
    • Supervise and train a team of 5-10 staff members, providing guidance and support to ensure they meet their performance goals.
  • Inventory and Supply Chain Management
    • Negotiate with suppliers to secure the best prices for food and other supplies.
    • Manage inventory levels, ensuring that we have the necessary stock to meet customer demand.
  • Financial Management
    • Prepare and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial reports to ensure the restaurant's financial health.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience
    • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a restaurant management role.
  • Skills
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Strong organizational and time management skills.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure.
    • Attention to detail and ability to multitask.
Work Environment

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced restaurant environment, with a focus on providing exceptional customer service and driving sales growth. The ideal candidate will be a team player, with a strong work ethic and a passion for delivering results.

Language and Work Conditions

The primary language of work is English. The successful candidate will work 40 hours per week, with a permanent work term.
