About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Sales Team Lead to join our team at Once Upon A Child. As a Sales Team Lead, you will be responsible for leading a team of sales associates and ensuring the smooth operation of our retail store.

Key Responsibilities
  • Team Leadership: Lead and motivate a team of sales associates to achieve sales goals and provide excellent customer service.
  • Merchandise Management: Oversee the receipt, storage, and display of merchandise, ensuring that it is accurately priced and presented in a visually appealing manner.
  • Sales and Customer Service: Assist customers with purchases, resolve any issues that may arise, and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Inventory Management: Conduct regular inventory counts, identify and address any discrepancies, and maintain accurate records.
  • Store Operations: Ensure the store is clean, organized, and well-maintained, and that all equipment and systems are functioning properly.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and submit regular sales reports, analyze sales data, and provide insights to inform business decisions.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years in a retail sales or management role
  • Skills: Excellent communication and leadership skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Work Environment

The Sales Team Lead will work in a fast-paced retail environment, with a focus on providing excellent customer service and driving sales growth. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team, and will be comfortable with the physical demands of the role, including standing for extended periods and lifting up to 25 pounds.
