About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Actuarial Analyst to join our Corporate Actuarial team at Northbridge Financial Corporation. As a key contributor, you will be responsible for providing expert analysis and insights to support our business decisions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain complex actuarial models to analyze loss reserves and loss adjustment expense reserve adequacy
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure proper communication of observed trends to key stakeholders
  • Coach and mentor junior team members to develop their technical skills and expertise
  • Research and develop new approaches to reserving and stress testing to stay ahead of industry trends
  • Prepare and submit reports to regulatory authorities, ensuring compliance with applicable statutes and precedents
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Actuarial Sciences or a Master's Degree in Mathematics
  • Experience in Reinsurance and P&C Reserving and Stress Testing (FCT/DCAT)
  • Passed at least 5 of the 9 CAS exams, or relevant experience
  • Key software expertise in SAS, Excel, and VBA
