We are seeking a skilled Speech-language Pathologist to join our team at Kelowna Community Health and Services Centre in Kelowna, BC.
About the RoleThis is a permanent part-time position working Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday, with shift times from 08:00 to 16:00. As a Speech-language Pathologist, you will work directly with clients and/or their caregivers to create environments that promote optimal communication and swallowing for adults requiring this care.

New Rate as of April 1, 2024 will be $42.27 to $52.81. With this opportunity comes eligibility to apply for reimbursement of registration or membership fees through the organization.
About the TeamJoin a dynamic and dedicated team of caring professionals as an autonomous professional with expertise in typical development and disorders of communication/swallowing. The Speech-language Pathologist will contribute to the organization and the overall goals of the department/program quality assurance initiatives, meetings, research, and education.
ImpactThe SLP has the potential to change the trajectory of our clients' lives by improving their speech, language, communication, and swallowing abilities.
RequirementsWe are looking for an SLP with excellent oral and written communication abilities and the ability to connect with people from all types of backgrounds. The SLP will be creative in supporting clients' goals while adhering to program guidelines and will be an active and engaged team member, able to respectfully communicate and resolve conflict in a timely manner.
