The Sales Development Executive at Coca-Cola Canada plays a pivotal role in driving sales within our extensive network of local and national large store clients. This position is essential for identifying and capitalizing on sales opportunities while fostering strong relationships with customers. The Sales Development Executive is tasked with maximizing profitable sales by navigating the complexities of various channels and seeking out new large store clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Effectively promote customer marketing initiatives, additional display setups, and equipment placements that align with both the client's and Coca-Cola Canada's strategic objectives.
- Assess potential opportunities for both new and existing large store clients.
- Create tailored business strategies that address the unique needs of each customer.
- Collaborate with merchandising supervisors and the replenishment team to meet revenue and profit targets while maintaining optimal inventory levels and merchandising standards.
- Deliver exceptional customer service and promptly resolve any issues that arise.
- Implement promotional programs and ensure compliance from dealers.
- Execute channel and customer promotions that align with national brand strategies.
- Strategically organize time and territory to maximize face-to-face selling opportunities.
- Construct or adjust displays, sections, end caps, racks, and coolers in accordance with Coca-Cola Canada's standards.
- Capable of lifting, carrying, and positioning products weighing up to 50 lbs (22 kg) above shoulder height without assistance.
Required Qualifications
- 1-3 years of experience in sales within the consumer goods sector is essential.
- At least 1 year of experience in consumer products, direct store delivery sales, or major account management.
- Strong analytical, organizational, planning, and communication skills, both verbal and written, are critical.
- Proficient in using various computer applications.
- A valid driver's license with a clean driving record for the past three years is required.
- Access to a personal vehicle for work-related tasks is necessary.
- Post-secondary education is preferred.
