What is the opportunity?
As a leading wealth management firm in Canada, RBC Wealth Management is dedicated to providing tailored financial solutions through its various business units. We are seeking a seasoned and analytical Content Insights Manager to enhance our content strategy. In this pivotal role, you will analyze and report on content performance across multiple platforms, identify areas for enhancement, and guide optimization efforts to align with business goals and drive impactful results. Reporting to the head of content management, you will compile and synthesize marketing analytics from various content channels, delivering critical insights and recommendations to shape our content strategy.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop Key Performance Indicators (KPIs): Collaborate with channel leaders and the content strategy team to establish essential reporting metrics and benchmarks for our content initiatives.
- Deliver Data Insights and Analytics: Aggregate and analyze performance data from diverse content channels, providing insights, analyses, and recommendations for optimization to the head of content strategy, content creators, and channel leaders, as well as updates for executive management.
- Create and Maintain Reporting Dashboards: Design and sustain a comprehensive reporting framework that tracks key metrics, facilitating updates with business partners and executive leadership.
- Identify Conversion Opportunities: Gather insights across channels to pinpoint opportunities for advisors to leverage content for business growth. Analyze key inflection points in the content journey, monitoring assets under management (AUM) and mapping them to the sales cycle.
- Engage with Stakeholders Across Wealth Management Canada: Foster relationships with relevant stakeholders in marketing, communications, and other teams within Wealth Management Canada to advance the vision and approach of the Content Strategy & Distribution teams regarding data and analytics.
Qualifications for Success
Essential Skills
- Minimum of 5 years in a data-driven analytics role.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Google Analytics 4, capable of interpreting complex data.
- Demonstrated success in delivering strategic insights.
- Experience in developing and implementing analytics dashboards and reporting, with proficiency in Business Intelligence tools such as AWS QuickSight and Looker Studio.
- Solid understanding of key metrics in a content and marketing context.
- Advanced skills in MS Excel, including macro development and complex functions.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in crafting and executing content marketing strategies within the financial services sector.
- Familiarity with digital marketing platforms, including Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
- Proficiency in project management tools like Wrike.
- Background in the Wealth Management industry.
