Director of Outreach

The ROME GROUP is seeking a highly skilled and strategic Director of Outreach to lead our organization's outreach initiatives and support the development team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for enhancing our community presence, managing our digital platforms, and driving engagement across multiple channels.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive outreach strategy to promote our organization's mission and initiatives.
  • Manage and maintain our website, social media platforms, and other digital channels to ensure a seamless user experience.
  • Design and create visually compelling content for print and digital media using Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Plan and execute events, including the development of project timelines, vendor coordination, and volunteer training.
  • Lead volunteer recruitment, training, and management efforts.
  • Work with the Chief Development Officer to plan and execute online fundraising campaigns.
Requirements:
  • 3-5 years of multi-channel communications experience, particularly in the digital environment, graphic design, and web development.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator.
  • Working knowledge of coding languages such as JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
  • Proven track record in managing social media platforms and creating engaging content.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and visual communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • Experience with event planning and execution, including vendor coordination and volunteer management.
