We are seeking a highly skilled General Merchandise Associate to join our team at Walmart Canada. As a key member of our retail team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a clean and organized store environment, and assisting with the sale of goods.
Key Responsibilities- Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers, answering questions, and resolving issues in a polite and friendly manner.
- Cover assigned areas on the sales floor, including zoning and maintaining a clean and safe environment.
- Assist with stocking and displaying merchandise, including moving feature products to their modular homes.
- Work with recovery merchandise from the Customer Service desk and other areas of the store.
- Assist with Front End coverage and communicate with other associates to ensure floor coverage is maintained.
- Contribute to a safe, clean, and hazard-free work environment through adherence to Company policy and procedures.
To be successful in this role, you will need to have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. You will also need to be able to lift up to 25 kg and stand for long periods of time.
