Job Title: Optical Lab Associate

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Optical Lab Associate to join our team at EssilorLuxottica Group. As an Optical Lab Associate, you will be responsible for executing high-quality products and delivering timely eyewear to customers in accordance with our lab operational and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Schedule and perform maintenance and calibration on equipment according to lab operating standards.
  • Adjust, repair, and dispense eyewear as required.
  • Provide exceptional customer service as required.
  • Notify customers on job status.
  • Clean and maintain the lab area.
  • Re-stock inventory.
  • Maintain inventory of lens and supplies.
  • Fabricate jobs on a timely basis.
  • Maintain Company processes and procedures in the lab.
  • Ensure safety standards are complied with.
  • Create a customer-focused retail selling culture by fostering a team environment, executing visual merchandising and presentation standards, and exhibiting a professional presentation with customers, associates, and doctors.

Requirements:

  • High School Graduate or equivalent.
  • Strong basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).
  • Problem-solving ability.
  • Organization skills.
  • Strong communication and listening skills.
  • Strong inter-personal skills (friendly, caring, patient).
  • Knowledge of store merchandise.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Optical training.
  • Optical background.
  • Experience with machinery.
  • 6+ months of customer service experience.
