Position Overview:

As a vital member of the Governance team, you will play a key role in maintaining the highest standards of accountability and transparency within our Compliance Program.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead initiatives that support the strategic objectives of the team, including the formulation of risk appetite measures, committee structures, frameworks, policies, and procedures.
  • Collaborate across various functions to orchestrate and implement Risk Management activities that have a significant impact on the unit.
  • Drive innovation in reporting through automation, influencing decision-making with data-driven insights, and ensuring the management of policy standards and global documentation.

Accountabilities:
  • Enhance strategic decision-making by developing and refining reporting dashboards and presentations for senior executives, ensuring impactful actions based on strategic insights and adherence to comprehensive corporate policies.
  • Measure and support strategic outcomes by developing and implementing success metrics for initiatives.
  • Streamline non-financial risk assessments for Compliance, including TPRM, NIRA, RCSA, and more, ensuring a proactive approach to risk management.
  • Maintain Policy Standards and manage the Global Document repository with precision to safeguard policy integrity.
  • Identify and implement opportunities for automation and standardization in reporting, setting new benchmarks for efficiency.
  • Deliver actionable insights through thorough data analysis, informing strategic decisions that align with regulatory mandates and the overarching objectives of the organization.
  • Collaborate with leadership to review and refresh Global Compliance & AML documentation, incorporating insights from various risk domains.
  • Integrate the Bank's risk appetite and cultural ethos into daily responsibilities and decision-making processes.
  • Ensure effective operations in accordance with the organization's values, Code of Conduct, and Global Sales Principles, while maintaining compliance with operational, compliance, AML/ATF/sanctions, and conduct risk obligations.
  • Foster a high-performance environment and contribute to an inclusive workplace culture.

Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in banking or financial services.
  • A degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or Mathematics is preferred.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate data effectively.
  • Proficient in data collection, querying, and graphical reporting.
  • Ability to visualize information and communicate effectively with senior management.
  • Expertise in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, with strong data manipulation skills.
  • Detail-oriented and a top performer in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet aggressive deadlines.
  • Experience with PowerBI and/or Advanced SharePoint Site Management is advantageous.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Fluency in Spanish is a plus.
