Job Title: Plastic Printer

We are seeking a skilled Plastic Printer to join our team at Gelpac Poly Inc. in a permanent position.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for setting up and operating printing machines, monitoring print runs, and performing routine maintenance work on machinery. The ideal candidate will have experience working with plastic materials and ink, and be able to work in a noisy and hot environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Set up and make adjustments to printing machines
  • Operate and monitor printing machines during print run and make adjustments
  • Remove and clean plates and cylinders at end of press run
  • Fill ink fountains and control colour and viscosity
  • Clean and lubricate equipment and refill equipment tanks
  • Perform routine maintenance work on machinery
Requirements:
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a similar field
  • Ability to work in a noisy and hot environment
  • Ability to distinguish between colours
  • Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
