Job Summary: As a Project Accountant, you will play a critical role in managing financial transactions and ensuring accurate reporting on construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Performing thorough account analysis and reconciliations to ensure financial accuracy
  • Conducting regular financial audits to ensure compliance with industry standards
  • Collaborating closely with Project Managers to ensure accurate project cost management
  • Assisting in the preparation and maintenance of project budgets
  • Providing timely and accurate financial status analytics to stakeholders
  • Preparing and reviewing comprehensive financial reports
  • Monitoring project revenue and cost variances to ensure financial stability
  • Tracking project Change Notices and Orders to ensure accurate invoicing
  • Ensuring smooth cash flow through efficient client invoicing
  • Reviewing project contracts to ensure alignment with invoicing practices
  • Performing other duties as required to support project financial management

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
  • At least 5 years of experience in project accounting in the construction industry
  • Advanced knowledge of financial management principles and practices
  • Strong organizational and time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively
  • Understanding of construction management principles and practices
  • Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems
  • Ability to multitask and work under pressure to meet deadlines
  • Results-oriented and proactive approach to problem-solving
