About the Role

The BC Public Service is seeking a highly skilled SaaS Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our Information Management Branch/Enterprise Services, you will play a critical role in supporting the ministry with cutting-edge, subscription-based software tools that enhance collaboration, design, and communication.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer and develop with Software as a Service (SaaS) suite of products, including Atlassian Cloud, SharePoint Online, Miro, Figma, and Docker.
  • Transition teams from legacy software systems to Cloud SaaS, considering technical and human change management.
  • Integrate SaaS software with existing operational systems, in the cloud or on premises.
  • Manage projects, develop action plans, and lead project teams in technical projects in a large enterprise environment.
  • Assess customer requirements, develop and implement technical and business solutions using SaaS.
Requirements
  • Degree, diploma, or certificate in Computer Science or related discipline, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
  • 3 years of experience in each of the following:
    • Administering and developing with SaaS suite of products.
    • Transitioning teams from legacy software systems to Cloud SaaS.
    • Integrating SaaS software with existing operational systems.
  • Experience managing projects, developing action plans, and leading project teams in technical projects in a large enterprise environment.
  • Experience in assessing customer requirements, developing and implementing technical and business solutions using SaaS.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working in an agile development environment with User Experience (UX) teams, designers, and developers to iteratively create or improve digital products and services from conception to production.
  • Integration Platform as a Service software suites with Software as a Service products.
