Senior Security Analyst Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Security Analyst to join our team at Westland Insurance. As a key member of our Information Security department, you will play a critical role in ensuring the security and integrity of our organization's information systems and data.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Translate security objectives and risk management strategies into security processes enabled by technologies and services.
  • Support the operation of security systems and risk management processes, including the triage, investigation, and remediation of information security incidents.
  • Participate in the creation of enterprise security documentation, including policies, standards, guidelines, and procedures.
  • Support validation of security controls through participation, planning, and execution of vulnerability assessments, penetration tests, and security audits.
  • Conduct risk assessments to identify and prioritize potential risks to the organization's information assets, and develop and implement security strategies to mitigate identified risks.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 5 years of directly related experience working in an IT Infrastructure or Information Security role.
  • Strong technical knowledge of both Windows on-premises and Azure cloud environments.
  • Experience with application and infrastructure security solutions, including SIEM platforms, MDR platforms, and Identity and Access Management systems.
  • Excellent knowledge of information security standards and practices, including NIST CSF, NIST 800:53, CIS, OWASP, and PCI DSS.
  • Experience with secure design and project risk assessments for cloud and on-prem environments, including SaaS solutions.
  • Ability to provide security recommendations by assessing and analyzing application security testing outcomes.
  • Highly organized, with excellent communication skills and the ability to liaise between technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Information security-related certification from a recognized issuing body (CEH, CISSP, CISM, etc.).
