Faculty Member, School and Counselling Psychology

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced individual to join our team as a tenure-track faculty member in School and Counselling Psychology. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching graduate-level courses, conducting research, and contributing to the department's academic and administrative activities.
About the PositionThis is a tenure-track position at the Assistant Professor level, commencing September 1, 2024. The successful candidate will be expected to teach courses in the Master of Education program in School and Counselling Psychology, as well as contribute to the development of the program.
Responsibilities- Teach graduate-level courses in School and Counselling Psychology
- Conduct research in the field of School and Counselling Psychology
- Contribute to the department's academic and administrative activities
- Supervise graduate students
- Participate in departmental and university service
The successful candidate will have a completed Doctorate Degree in Educational/School Psychology, with expertise and experience in psycho-educational assessment and intervention. Secondary areas of expertise may include counselling psychology, child and family counselling, school-based counselling, Indigenous counselling, and cross-cultural counselling.
