Faculty Member, School and Counselling Psychology

We are seeking a highly qualified individual to join our team as a tenure-track faculty member in School and Counselling Psychology at the University of Saskatchewan.
About the PositionThis is a tenure-track position at the Assistant Professor level, commencing September 1, 2024. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching graduate-level courses in the Master of Education program in School and Counselling Psychology, as well as contributing to the implementation and delivery of practical elements of this program through the Counselling, Assessment, Intervention and Research Services (CAIRS) centre.
Responsibilities- Teach graduate-level courses in School and Counselling Psychology
- Contribute to the implementation and delivery of practical elements of the Master of Education program
- Carry out an active research program, disseminating research findings, and applying for grants
- Supervise graduate students and participate in administrative work
The successful candidate must have a completed Doctorate Degree in Educational/School Psychology, with expertise and experience in psycho-educational assessment and intervention. Secondary areas of expertise may include counselling psychology, child and family counselling, school-based counselling, Indigenous counselling, and cross-cultural counselling. The candidate must be registered psychologists or eligible to register with the Saskatchewan College of Psychologists.
