Interior Health Authority is seeking a dedicated Program Advisor to contribute to enhancing healthcare within our organization.

This role focuses on providing guidance and resources for Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) programs across Interior Health. You will collaborate with internal and external partners to strengthen health and safety systems, lead program development initiatives, ensure regulatory compliance, and cultivate a culture of safety throughout the organization.

Your Impact:

  • Develop, implement, and oversee comprehensive WHS programs and resources.
  • Provide expert technical advice and leadership to stakeholders.
  • Support strategic planning efforts related to OHS.
  • Guide organizational members on their health and safety responsibilities.
  • Contribute to the development and refinement of OHS policies.
  • Monitor worksite conditions to identify potential hazards.
  • Represent Interior Health in relevant initiatives and collaborations.
  • Adhere to all established OHS policies and procedures.
  • Promptly report any identified hazards or incidents.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.
