About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and caring individual to join our team at Lullaboo Nursery and Childcare center as an Early Childhood Educator Assistant. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about working with young children and supporting their development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the daily care and education of children in our nursery, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.
  • Support the lead educator in planning and implementing engaging activities, games, and crafts that promote learning and development.
  • Maintain a safe and healthy environment by adhering to our center's policies and procedures.
  • Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to ensure a smooth and harmonious working environment.
  • Participate in staff meetings to discuss children's progress, share ideas, and address any concerns.
  • Contribute to the upkeep of our nursery, including cleaning, organizing, and maintaining equipment and supplies.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a childcare setting.
  • Criminal record check required.
