About the Role

Key Responsibilities
  • Staff Supervision: Supervise and coordinate the activities of sales staff, including apprentices, stages hands, and design team members.
  • Sales and Customer Service: Assign sales workers to duties, authorize payments by cheque, and resolve customer requests and complaints in a timely and professional manner.
  • Inventory Management: Organize and maintain inventory, ensuring that stock levels are adequate and that merchandise is properly displayed and priced.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters to inform business decisions and drive growth.
  • Team Leadership: Foster a positive and inclusive work environment, promoting teamwork and collaboration among staff members.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Store Operations: Ensure the overall cleanliness and organization of the store, including the stockroom and display areas.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a retail or supervisory role.
  • Skills: Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Personal Qualities: Accurate, organized, and a team player with a strong attention to detail.
