About the Role

Pioneer Thinking Consulting Corporation is seeking a skilled Building Maintenance Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our facilities operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our shopping centre and mall facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Facilities Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance tasks, including adjustments and minor repairs to heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing, and electrical systems.
  • Contractor Management: Contact contractors for repairs and maintenance of the establishment, ensuring timely and cost-effective solutions.
  • Tenant Support: Show apartments and offices to prospective tenants, providing excellent customer service and ensuring a positive experience.
  • Equipment Management: Ensure the proper functioning of security systems and other equipment, performing routine checks and maintenance as needed.
  • Work Environment: Work in a fast-paced environment, often under pressure, and be able to work with minimal supervision.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in a related field.
  • Physical Demands: Be able to perform physically demanding tasks, including bending, crouching, and kneeling.
  • Personal Qualities: Possess excellent oral communication skills, be dependable, flexible, and have a strong sense of initiative and judgement.
