Your Opportunity:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Registered Nurse to join our team in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) at the Red Deer Regional Hospital. As a Registered Nurse in the ICU/CCU, you will work collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team to provide patient and family-focused nursing care.

About the Role:

As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing a wide range of nursing services to patients, families, and communities. You will utilize your critical thinking and problem-solving skills to make informed decisions and provide safe, quality patient care. You will also play a leadership role in supporting an integrated and holistic approach to patient care, health promotion, and maintenance.

Requirements:

  • Completion of an accredited nursing education program
  • Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with the College of Registered Nurses of Alberta (CRNA)
  • Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP)
  • Preferred: Baccalaureate degree or skills and experience relevant to nursing practice
